The Face of News will celebrate the 45th anniversary of a celebrity photographer, author and collector, Steve Starr. The event in an elaborate photo exhibition will honor broadcasters, publishers, columnists, writers and journalists, and entertainment news reporters and producers. Showcasing over four hundred framed images, “The Face of News,” will be held at the magnificently restored John B. Murphy Memorial Auditorium on Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
This event, will not only honor one of the most renown Chicago’s celebrity photographer Steve Starr, but will honor media representatives for their invaluable contribution. Furthermore a portion of proceeds will be donated to Committee to Protect Journalist in order to ensure that the press freedom worldwide is protected.
