To the attention of of the Turkmen diaspora

On June 28, 2020, a protest rally of the Turkmen diaspora against the ruling dictatorship in Turkmenistan will be held all over the world. Peaceful protests are planned in the USA, Canada, Turkey, Sweden, Cyprus, and other countries.

In New York City, the rally will be held from 9 am till 10 am in front of the UN building (46th St & 1st Ave, New York, NY 10017). In Washington, DC, the rally will begin at noon in front of the Turkmenistan Embassy (2207 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008) and will continue to the White House.

The tyranny of the dictatorial regime in Turkmenistan has reached its climax. The theft of national wealth and money has reached tremendous proportions. Purposeful extermination and genocide of the Turkmen nation take place. Every minute widespread unrest could erupt in a bloody civil war, in which another six neighboring states, including Iran and Afghanistan, could be involved. The people of Turkmenistan demand the resignation of the current president and the entire ruling elite, and the holding of transparent, democratic elections in the presence of international observers.
