An Enchanting Evening of Fashion and Music Benefiting the Merit School of Music & ACO

(Chicago, IL) The world of opera and fashion collide! The American Chamber Opera (ACO) presents Fashion of the Opera hosted by reigning Miss Chicago Marisa Buchheit and Jeff Conway of NBC’s 24/7 Chicago. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Merit School of Music and their efforts to further bring music education to eager talented children and enhance current programs, as well as the American Chamber Opera’s mission to provide high quality, accessible opera in English to a wide audience. Guests will experience an incomparable spectacle of music and fashion with Chicago’s best local designers on the runway to a series of live sensational opera.

Time: 7:30pm with entertainment promptly at 8:00

Formal reception will follow with delectable hor d’oeurves from Erick Moreno, Lakhi Siap and cocktails by our friends at Moet Hennessey. Mix and mingle with the talented singers, designers and Chicago’s finest. All will be indulged for the good of music education with the superb silent items. Production and set design by Benjamin Cottrell with hair and makeup by Kate Johnson Artistry. Marisa Buchheit, Miss Chicago 2012, attended the Merit School of Music and attributes her success to the dedicated Merit instructors. Marisa is the founder of this event and CMO of The American Chamber Opera. She hopes the affair continues annually. Jeff Conway is the Executive Producer and Host of the NBC’s 24/7 Chicago where they strive to bring deserving people, places, and things together for all to know. Jeff is also a dedicated philanthropist for many local charities.
