Russians to Boycott American Products

The Kremlin’s annexation of the Crimea is not just being accompanied with a perfect storm of Russian chauvinism, neo-Stalinist repressions and Hitlerish slogans, it has also given a rise to a new wave of anti-American and anti-Western propaganda. Here’s an interesting poster that I have recently found on the Face Book page of Anonymous Russia, a patriotic social group, very representative of public sentiments in Putin’s Russia:

BOYCOTT AMERICA

Dear fellow Russians –
Together we can retaliate against obnoxious sanctions placed by the US. All we need to do is to unite and give up American products. They’re not good for health anyway. Americunts will be very sensitive to the boycott of their brands. Only McDonald’s has annual sales of 60 billion rubles in Russia. Can you do without McDonald’s?

My dear Russian patriots –

Boycotting Coke, hamburgers and other goods that you don’t use on a daily basis is like being a hero in a Battleship game. Why not do something truly courageous? Here’s a suggestion for you as to how to take a real stand against American imperialism.

Give up all notebooks, PCs, smartphones, I-pads, I-pods, Microsoft and Macintosh software, Hollywood movies, Levi’s jeans, hip-hop, rap, jazz, and rock’n’roll. Make sure to get rid of refrigerators, microwaves, air conditioners and other inventions of the Western aggressors conspiring to conquer the world.

As the next step, I call upon you to unite and close your accounts in facebook.com, this highly dangerous Jewish-American mind-control tool presenting a clear danger to the national interests of the Russian Federation.

Finally, being Russian patriots you must say an unconditional “No” to the internet, yet another product of the English-speaking world, both American and British, which as you all know is the main enemy of Mother Russia. Just never get online again – and I will be highly obliged to you for your bravery.

But this is not the end. There are lots of other things from America you may and should boycott: transportation, medical and industrial technologies, education methods, legal principles, societal and government models, financial and business instruments – the sky is the limit. Don’t forget about English language: your group, which for some weird reason has an English name – Anonymous Russia – will have to be renamed. All of these ought to be done away with once and forever.

ONLY HAVING GOTTEN RID OF ALL OF THIS, RUSSIA WILL FINALLY FIND ITS TRUE IDENTITY AND BE ITSELF.

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO WIN, COMRADES.
