On Sunday, February 9, 2014, in collaboration with Feld Inc., the Arts4Kids Foundation organized its their third field trip, designed specifically to introduce children to various forms of arts. The field trip to United Center to see “Disney On Ice” included more than show itself — photos, lunch, and transportation to and from the event were among the many highlights of this wonderful excursion. Approximately 50 children and volunteers were in attendance.

The children, many of whom, for the first, had an opportunity to attend a “Disney on Ice” production, marveled at a skating spectacular showcasing a magical medley of holidays and celebrations from around the world. The young audience watched in awe as they were transported to some of the most popular events from Brazil to Hawaii, to New Orleans and Japan. They cheerfully applauded as their favorite Disney characters leaped, spun, and jumped.
As the show drew to a close, children reluctant to part with the Disney characters were ushered to the lobby where they had a chance to share their elated experience with one another. The Arts4Kids Foundation’s event photographer, Larisa Pevtsova of Lorchique Photography, helped to capture the moment, as children were treated to lunch, with dessert snacks donated by Voila Events.
