For Immediate Release:

In just under a month, join the Terra Sounds team of talented musicians as they perform the all-favorite works of great Jewish composers, such as Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Benny Goodman and others who inspired the birth of a new Jewish tune, to be presented at the Chicago City Winery on June 1 at 2pm.  Guitarist Aleks Di Roma, Co-Founder of Terra Sounds Scohol of Music and Arts, will open the concert with his original works, special guests, and inspiring arrangements.  Aleks is a passionate music instructor, producer and a vibrant performing artist. He has been featured in both international and national events, recording projects, workshops, and radio stations.  “I’ve always loved introducing my students to a wide range of music, including the traditional Jewish works that really shaped me as a musician, “George Gershwin and Leonard Bernstein’s music are now well-known melodies, though the instrumentation, rhythm, and feel of these works have been rearranged to a variety of musical genres.  These works have naturally influenced modern-day music, and will continue to influence and inspire future generations.”  The Chicago City Winery is a one-of-a-kind venue that blends incredible music with excellent wine and culinary delights in a unique city setting.  All ages are welcome to attend, with adults 21+ to enjoy the wine country experience in the middle of a large city.
