The decision was made by a distinguished jury. Russian-speaking representatives from organizations across the United States gathered in the US capital for the second annual Silver Archer USA awards, presented to Russian-American projects that contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
This year`s event, held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, a world-class conference and meeting facility that hosts thousands of events each year for sophisticated clients from around the globe, included entries from 20 contestants who embarked on business, scientific, cultural and media projects throughout the United States.
RULIST was awarded the Diploma in the `Business, Technology, and Innovations` category. `After ten years of work, I’m proud to say that our project has been recognized as a very visible component of advancing independent information about Russian American community in the media,` said Irina Grinevitskaya, RULIST director and co-founder. `I am confident that conducting competitions such as the Silver Archer in the United States will contribute to developing the dialogue between Russia and America.`
Among the winners honored at the event in the same category was Mikhail Prokhorov`s project with `Mikhaylov and Partners` for the company`s role in bringing a National Basketball Association (NBA) team to Brooklyn and the construction of the team`s home arena, the Barclays Center.
The Silver Archer Prize for Public Relations was first awarded in 1997. It was founded by the Russian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Union of Journalists and the Association for Public Relations.
