As the summer drew to an end, we were not ready to let it go just yet. A well-known charitable organization Avanse hosted a fun event in support of its mission to advance the lives of Street Children in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event held at a private mansion in Lincoln Park attracted over 200 charitable guests. The Dj Todd Fagel spun smooth tracks as the attendees enjoyed freshly-grilled foods by private chef Sean Tehrani of Basil Leaf Café and libations from Heineken and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The pool at times was packed with those seeking to splash around to cool off during a nice summer day. The area in the basement around the large screen TV was also filled with guests who cheered for their favorite Chicago Bears team. Over $8,500 altogether was raised towards organization’s newest Outreach Center in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
